One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Belonella found a gap and took the lead. Beautiful Godiva followed before Blaffende Hond. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Belonella was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Beautiful Godiva looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blaffende Hond couldn't come out from behind the leader, Belonella. Blaffende Hond saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Pinstripe´s Bonzo seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Blaffende Hond litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Blaffende Hond kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pansartaxen and Beautiful Godiva. Results
