One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starstruck Ring was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Hard Man quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Cordon Sanitaire started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Hard Man clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Hard Man was still in the lead after 1500m.



Black Bandwagon litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Hard Man won. Black Bandwagon came in second. Starstruck Ring caught third place.
