One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quick Work sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Quick Work suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Honourable Force looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Honourable Force didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Honourable Force kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Wimpy Forest won. Honourable Force came in second. Reisen Abgeordneter caught third place.
