One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sergeant Wave sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Wondering Pony saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Royal Highness to trotting so they were disqualified.

Royal Speed took the lead after 1000m. Sergeant Wave didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Full Contact suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Johnny Takter tried a little too much on the homestretch and Royal Highness started to galopp and lost 30 m.
