One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Loving Pirate could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Loving Pirate was still in the lead after 1500m.



Loving Pirate sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Thor Borg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Fighting Sniper started to galopp and lost 40 m.




Loving Pirate didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
