One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Godiva tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Funky Blossom that came steaming ahead. Purple Ring was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Funky Blossom was in fine shape and held the lead.




Strong Band sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Beautiful Godiva accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Purple Ring speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Purple Ring today who won before Beautiful Godiva and Funky Blossom.
