One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Morwenna sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Gorgeous Moment was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Morwenna followed by Mannetjesputter and Eispeet. Lane two Saïda followed by Gorgeous Moment and Geradeaus.



With only a little left of the race Souk Ahras galoped for 40 m. Morwenna kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Mannetjesputter galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Eispeet won the race after a spectacular finish.
