The sun was shining on Östersund today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ran-tan-plan could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. Shooting Frenzy suddenly started to galop. Ulf Ohlsson had to struggle to get Shooting Frenzy to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Ran-tan-plan was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Ran-tan-plan was still in the lead after 1500m.



Ran-tan-plan kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Everglades galoped way to long and was disqualified. Fair Sunshine galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. Fair Sunshine galopped for 0 m on the homestretch.




Silent Echo won the race after a spectacular finish.
