The weather had been good all week and Boden was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modestine tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cute Stardust that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Modestine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cute Stardust couldn't come out from behind the leader, Picturesque S.K.. Whole Lotta Love galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Picturesque S.K. was still in the lead after 1500m.



Picturesque S.K. kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Cute Stardust never caught up with Modestine who won. Picturesque S.K. came third.
