One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sowing Sky took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Public Debate sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Walking Pearl who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Starstruck Sparrow galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Counterfeit Bouquet was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Starstruck Sparrow galop. Starstruck Sparrow lost 30 m. Mrs. Robinson galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Pointing Mambo sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
