One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Adam Opal was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Marcus Sundberg wanted a little to much in the start and Walking Nugget galoped for 40 m.

Walking Nugget saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

About To Score took the lead after 1000m. Seductive Work didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Fair Fox suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Sleepy Cherry accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

driver couldn't keep Walking Nugget to trotting so they were disqualified. About To Score suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Adam Opal sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
