It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Glamorous Orchid sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Prince Coverage suddenly started to galop. Jan Hultman had to struggle to get Prince Coverage to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Glamorous Orchid suddenly started to galop. Björn Goop had to struggle to get Glamorous Orchid to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Soient Mieux Bon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Glamorous Orchid couldn't come out from behind the leader, Welsh Dynamite. Prince Coverage galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Slimy Pirate was still in the lead after 1500m.




Aggressive Paladin kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Welsh Dynamite gallopped 50 m after 2000m. Prince Coverage showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Glamorous Orchid looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Glamorous Orchid didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
