The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Joensuu today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Portable Night sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Criminal Hyena quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Prudhomme Hof started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Front Gentleman sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Front Gentleman galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Front Gentleman followed by Portable Night and Suitengu S.K.. Lane two Ginger Dream followed by Prudhomme Hof and Criminal Hyena. Golden Box galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Front Gentleman looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Portable Night sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
