It had been raining for several days at Joensuu but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Gwendolyn was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Starshine Lipstick sprinted to the front. Starshine Lipstick was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Starshine Lipstick today. It continued in the lead. Starshine Lipstick looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Pinky Pie won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
