One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mittens was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Spontané, Mittens, Exotic Breath, Competitive Comet, Vacherie, Beaufort, Hard Hero, Aurélie.




Exotic Breath took the lead after 1000m. Spontané didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Mittens saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Mittens sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Mittens today who won before Spontané and Exotic Breath.
