The sun was shining on Sørlandet today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dreaming Wave found a gap and took the lead. Blue Ridge Ranger followed before Vacherie. Prima Bouquet was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Kuin Aina was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Vacherie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Scarlet Madness couldn't come out from behind the leader, Blue Ridge Ranger.

Blue Ridge Ranger was still in the lead after 1500m.

Blue Ridge Ranger sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Blue Ridge Ranger looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Vacherie galop. Vacherie lost 20 m.

Winner of todays race was Prima Bouquet. Pinstripe´s Brandy came in second. Blue Ridge Ranger became third.
