The weather had been good all week and Kausala was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Art Vandelay Pegasos tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gwendolyn that came steaming ahead. Ari Moilanen wanted a little to much in the start and Sunday Sapphire galoped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Rolling Heat sprinted to the front.




Art Vandelay Pegasos sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Gwendolyn looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Gwendolyn kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Gwendolyn looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sunday Sapphire sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
