One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fighting Tiger was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Slow Panther galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Astaire Hof sprinted to the front.




Astaire Hof clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Fighting Tiger looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Fighting Tiger was still in the lead after 2000m.



Fighting Tiger kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Astaire Hof won the race after a spectacular finish.
