One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Under A Rock. Red Stardust ended up behind the leader. Shrimpshrinker got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. driver couldn't keep Rapide Rapide to trotting so they were disqualified.

Glorious Gold saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Comfortable Missile started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Under A Rock looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Red Stardust couldn't come out from behind the leader, Glorious Gold.

Glorious Gold was still in the lead after 1500m.

Under A Rock took the lead. Comfortable Missile was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.

Glorious Gold litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Glorious Gold didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
