The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quilly Du Marais sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Thinking Behemoth quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. driver couldn't keep Misfit to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Bol Thrasher took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bol Thrasher followed by Inflazione and Thinking Behemoth. Lane two Quilly Du Marais followed by Cunning Asteroid and Le Petite Croque.



Bol Thrasher sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Quilly Du Marais showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Lars Wester tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sliding Rocker started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Cunning Asteroid sprinted over the finishline before Inflazione and Bol Thrasher.
