Only a humble breeze blew over Arvika this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funky Blossom sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Power Sergeant looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Heat It Up couldn't come out from behind the leader, Funky Blossom. Heat It Up suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Funky Blossom today. It continued in the lead.




Funky Blossom kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Funky Blossom sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Heat It Up won. Funky Blossom came in second. Power Sergeant caught third place.
