One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Insomnia could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
Black Sword saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Tamboerijn sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Counterfeit Ruby galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tamboerijn followed by Wild Flower and Rational Titan. Lane two La Soeur followed by Black Sword and Heavy Lion. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Naléhavý Zpráva gallopped for 40 m.
Tamboerijn looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Tamboerijn didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
