The weather had been good all week and Lindesberg was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Safari Escargot. Gainsbourg Hof ended up behind the leader. Pointing Whirlwind got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Voile Dans suddenly started to galop. Åke Lindblom had to struggle to get Voile Dans to tror again and succeded after 40 m. Pointing Whirlwind suddenly started to galop. Linda Sedström had to struggle to get Pointing Whirlwind to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Good Looking Paladin, Gainsbourg Hof, Pointing Whirlwind, Bocklages Law, D.k. Boy, Glorious Gold, Flying Cube, Safari Escargot.

D.k. Boy sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Bocklages Law saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Pointing Whirlwind gallopped for 50 m.

Bocklages Law were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Safari Escargot won the race after a spectacular finish.
