One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sliding Play sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Spring Dream was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Sliding Play looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Laissez-faire couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tarmac. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Sliding Play was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tarmac followed by Trembling Breeze and Self Contained. Lane two Sliding Play followed by Peur Du Noir and Laissez-faire.



Cool Cat was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Cool Cat was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Cool Cat was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Tarmac kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Tarmac never caught up with Self Contained who won. Trembling Breeze came third.
