One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Yolo Giron sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Relaxing
Body started to galop and lost 50 m.
Gun Ya Down quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Yolo Giron was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
The leader got disturbed by something and Yolo Giron took the lead rather easily.

Kent Knutsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Yolo Giron started to galopp and lost 20 m. Pink Witch showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
