The weather had been good all week and Hagmyren was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hold Your Hand was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Turning Carneval suddenly started to galop. Jan-Olof Johansson had to struggle to get Turning Carneval to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Elegant Sparkle, Tommy Turbulent, Ticking Wonder, Hold Your Hand, Lewiston, Fliegend Umsonst, Turning Carneval, Walking Asteroid. Turning Carneval was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Elegant Sparkle today. It continued in the lead.



Elegant Sparkle kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Walking Asteroid was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Fliegend Umsonst won the race after a spectacular finish.
