The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Starshine Giggle. Miss Hobo Lady ended up behind the leader. Fighting Tiger got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. driver couldn't keep Tankard to trotting so they were disqualified. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. The leader got disturbed by something and The Hunter took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop The Hunter today. It continued in the lead. The Hunter sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Winner of todays race was The Hunter. Starshine Giggle came in second. Miss Hobo Lady became third.
