One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hamburg Banker tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Useless Contention that came steaming ahead.




Hamburg Banker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Hamburg Banker was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Useless Contention suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Polished Hero saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Polished Hero was still in the lead after 2000m.



Polished Hero looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Thor Borg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Polished Hero started to galopp and lost 30 m.
