The sun was shining on Hagmyren and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Tender Thrasher. Pinstripe´s Bonnie ended up behind the leader. Knight Of Paris got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Stopping Boy was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Knight Of Paris saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Pinstripe´s Bonnie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Virriga Vera couldn't come out from behind the leader, Knight Of Paris.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Knight Of Paris followed by Virriga Vera and Stepping Cherry. Lane two Tender Thrasher followed by Pinstripe´s Bonnie and Stopping Boy.




Knight Of Paris was still in the lead after 2000m.



Tender Thrasher speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Virriga Vera won the race after a spectacular finish.
