One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Diamond Rebel was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Jumping Amazon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Try Again took the lead after 1000m. Diamond Rebel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Bright Viper was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Try Again followed by Bright Viper and Xandra. Lane two Diamond Rebel followed by Bounce Back and Jumping Amazon.



Try Again looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Diamond Rebel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Try Again.
