Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Speeding Lieutenant took the lead after a very quick start. Johan L Sundgren wanted a little to much in the start and Speeding Lieutenant galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Punching Arraow started to galop and lost 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Brown Mustache sprinted to the front. Myristica started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Scarlatti Hof took the lead rather easily.

Punching Arraow didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
