One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mad News was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sahaliyania Extas saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. The Safety Dance started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Sahaliyania Extas clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Mad News accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Mad News was still in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Sahaliyania Extas galoped for 10 m. Eau Du Cologne suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Breathing Gossip galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Eau Du Cologne. The Safety Dance came in second. Mad News became third.
