The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gorgeous Moonlight was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Eternal Maid was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Honourable Piece galloped way to long and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Shower Power today. It continued in the lead.




Shower Power sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Famous Wave galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Shower Power sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Shower Power. Glamorous Beauty came in second. Gorgeous Moonlight became third.
