It had been raining for several days at Bjerke but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funky Sunray took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Gold Dutch Lady sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Chewbacca Mom looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Chewbacca Mom sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Chewbacca Mom kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Funky Sunray sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
