One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Schreeuw Naamwoord found a gap and took the lead. Galette followed before Hard Desire. When the startcar left the field Galette started to galop and lost 30 m.




Galette quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Hard Desire sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Galette suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Bol Steel galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hard Desire today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Schreeuw Naamwoord gallopped for 40 m.




Hard Desire sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Hard Desire were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Schreeuw Naamwoord never caught up with Hard Desire who won. Galette came third.
