One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Merci Beaucoup took the lead after a very quick start. Opposing Nugget showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. When the startcar left the field Art Vandelay Pegasos started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Art Vandelay Pegasos, Flickering Wave, Grasping Mistress, Merci Beaucoup, Electric Baby, Criminal Foxy Lady, Belonella, Miss Hobo Lady. Merci Beaucoup was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Grasping Mistress took the lead after 1000m. Merci Beaucoup didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Merci Beaucoup looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Grasping Mistress started to gallop after 1500m and David Källgren had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Electric Baby suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Art Vandelay Pegasos galop. Art Vandelay Pegasos lost 10 m. Electric Baby kept the speed the whole finish and won before Merci Beaucoup and Criminal Foxy Lady.
