The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Wondering Thought. Beckham Pegasos ended up behind the leader. Boy Back Home got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Sublime started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Lady Lexington, Blossoming Cookie, Sublime, Beckham Pegasos, Carlos Rattlesnake, Cosmic Doll, Wondering Thought, Boy Back Home. A bird flew just in front of Punching Scout who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Blossoming Cookie took the lead after 1000m. Beckham Pegasos didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Sublime to trotting so they were disqualified.




Wondering Thought looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Wondering Thought didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Wondering Thought looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Per Ludvig Nilsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Carlos Rattlesnake started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Boy Back Home won the race after a spectacular finish.
