The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Rättvik today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cheval Noir could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Loving Knight, Cheval Noir, Sous-marin, Moving Arraow, Running Tank, Fasiken, Pampered Beauty, Vieux Guerrier. A bird flew just in front of Coughing Blossom who started to galop and lost 50 m. Immaculate Convergence started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Fasiken sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Immaculate Convergence showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Cheval Noir saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Cheval Noir sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Coughing Blossom galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Pampered Beauty sprinted over the finishline before Vieux Guerrier and Cheval Noir.
