One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tankard was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Elegante Roba was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Competitive Blizzard was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Listening Bandwagon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Silver Spoon started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Competitive Blizzard took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Competitive Blizzard today. It continued in the lead.

Competitive Blizzard didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Comfortable Scout gallopped 20 m after 2000m.

Competitive Blizzard looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Ghislain never caught up with Competitive Blizzard who won. Seductive Beard came third.
