The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backstabbing Jewel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. Torbjörn Jansson wanted a little to much in the start and Travelling Fall galoped for 30 m.




Interrobang saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Tropical Spring took the lead after 1000m. Travelling Fall didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Tropical Spring today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Sudden Fall galoped for 50 m. Goofy Necklace was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Tropical Spring sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Sudden Fall to trotting so they were disqualified. Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sudden Fall started to galopp and lost 30 m.




No-one could catch Tropical Spring today who won before Travelling Fall and Sound Of Victory.
