The weather had been good all week and Drammen was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Magic Needle was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Just Like Me quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Avalanche Course took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Avalanche Course followed by Muscular Energy and Max Work. Lane two Heavy Box followed by Just Like Me and Minette Du Lilas. Calming Devil galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Heavy Box speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Minette Du Lilas was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Avalanche Course made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Muscular Energy.
