One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Arctic Beat took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Korvryttaren started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Portable Night, Popular Pop, Sunday Maid, Arctic Beat, Front Agent, Attack Opal, Sophisticated Rose, Exporting Christmas. A bird flew just in front of Korvryttaren who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Comfortable Sergeant who started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Arctic Beat took the lead rather easily.

Kevin Oscarsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Arctic Beat started to galopp and lost 30 m. Sophisticated Rose galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Exporting Christmas showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Front Agent didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
