One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Beautiful Stardust found a gap and took the lead. Holy Nova followed before Tender Band. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Backstabbing Cherry looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Holy Nova couldn't come out from behind the leader, Beautiful Stardust. Beautiful Stardust was still in the lead after 1500m. Beautiful Stardust kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Beautiful Stardust was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Beautiful Stardust were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Holy Nova made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Beautiful Stardust.
