The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Leangen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rue De Unir could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Chartered Flight quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Fusion Rebel sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Chartered Flight looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Chartered Flight sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Rue De Unir galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Fusion Rebel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Chartered Flight.
