One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mai Sufficiente was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Eternal Maid quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sly Comet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Mai Sufficiente couldn't come out from behind the leader, Eternal Maid. Immaculate Convergence suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Eternal Maid followed by Mai Sufficiente and Skidrow. Lane two Sly Comet followed by Holy Dream and Uptown Downtown. driver couldn't keep Immaculate Convergence to trotting so they were disqualified.




Sly Comet put some pressure on the leader and could take over.




There was a new leader after 2500m, Mai Sufficiente.



Mai Sufficiente looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Mai Sufficiente galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Sly Comet sprinted over the finishline before Skidrow and Eternal Maid.
