It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Zircon Sagittaire found a gap and took the lead. Old Pain followed before Crossing Twister.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Better Than Before sprinted to the front.




Crossing Twister sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Lightning Ball showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Zircon Sagittaire looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Zircon Sagittaire kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Zircon Sagittaire looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Zircon Sagittaire. Better Than Before came in second. Crossing Twister became third.
