The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Färjestad this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sad Nova could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sliding Runner sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Brave Lovebreaker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Stepping Thought took the lead rather easily.




Sad Nova looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Sad Nova didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Sad Nova kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Principe Di Volata galop. Principe Di Volata lost 30 m.




Sliding Runner never caught up with Sad Nova who won. Sneaking Giggle came third.
