Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Färjestad track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Quick Striker found a gap and took the lead. Falling Action followed before Gentleman Mind.

Quick Striker was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Quick Striker followed by Falling Action and Walcott. Lane two Twisting And Turning followed by Listening Missile and Ladies Night. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m.

Quick Striker sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Quick Striker were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Copacabana started to galopp and lost 20 m. Copacabana galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Twisting And Turning didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
