One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chartered Flight took the lead after a very quick start.




Sinister Kid quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Useless Reticulation started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Chartered Flight took the lead rather easily. Sinister Kid showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Chartered Flight followed by Middelie and Confident Tiger. Lane two Falling Venus followed by Tough Titan and Useless Reticulation. Chartered Flight started to gallop after 1500m and Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Confident Tiger galloped for 50 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Tough Titan gallopped for 20 m.



Chartered Flight were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Middelie made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Falling Venus.
