Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Färjestad track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flaming Queen took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Mostrare started to galop and lost 40 m. Sunshine Sue was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sunshine Sue sprinted to the front. Advanced Piece was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Sunshine Sue clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Mostrare looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Mostrare kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Flaming Queen won. Mostrare came in second. Sunshine Sue caught third place.
